Travel Recommendations:
FYI your arrival time prior to departure should be no less than 90 minutes
and we suggest 2 hours.
How to Travel with out stress
Planning and patience are the
keys. First purchase a book that you have always
wanted to read. Tuck that into an easily accessible
place in your carry on.
Make every effort to obtain an
assigned seat…even the dreaded middle seat is better
that none! Hint: most airlines release a lot of seats
for pre-assignment 24 hours prior to the flight
departure. Call at that time… even if you have to set
your alarm clock for 5:00 AM. Check the airline’s
website the day before you travel. Many airlines will
allow you to print out your boarding pass in advance.
If you cannot do this take advantage. If you cannot
do this take advantage of the kiosks in most major
airports to obtain your boarding pass.
Pack Carefully. If you are
uncertain about the wisdom of taking a certain item
check the transportation Security website –
www.tsa.gov/public for a list of prohibited
items. Remember to leave your checked luggage
unlocked…if you do not the lock may be broken. You
might secure your luggage from casual roaming hands
with plastic fasteners. If security cuts these in
order to inspect your luggage they will replace them.
Call the airlines about 4 hours
before you plan to leave for the airport for a last
minute update on the flight.
Plan to arrive at least 2 hours
prior to departure for a domestic flight and 3 hours
if you are traveling internationally. Try to have a
friend drive you to the airport. Parking is very
limited during holidays.
Before approaching security take
all the change out of your pockets and remove belts or
anything with metal in it. Remove your shoes. This
will help you clear security quickly.
Once through security, find your
gate, relax and open that book!
Drink lots of water during the
flight…. And get up to walk around at least once per
hour. You will feel better on arrival for your
efforts.
And have a WONDERFUL TRIP!!!!!!!
